"We were forced to change things and to do things in a different way, but at our school, we haven´t stopped a day," private school principal Cesar Nuñez told us during our conversation a few weeks ago. Andres Valencia joined us for a conversation about the new realities we are all facing after the coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic crisis, how this school community was able to adapt and work with parents and students to make sure that the current academic year could continue and be completed. He mentions some of the eLearning tools they have been working with, the impressive capacity of students to learn online, the differentiated instruction needed to work with preschoolers and their parents, primary, and different age groups in general, the importance and need of teachers despite the dominant role technology and particularly artificial intelligence is starting to have in education, and his advice to educators to tackle the possible problems that they might have facing this worldwide crisis because we are definitely living in the future.
